Impact Theatre Atlanta in conjunction with the Academy Theatre and Synchronicity Theatre present Kelundra Smith’s world premiere play about the Atlanta Laundresses’ strike of 1881! This dramedy tells the story of how African American women began the strike and how it spread to garner the support of the whole community! Don’t miss this great show directed by Brenda Porter.

Atlanta Radio Theatre Company

The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company brings you a live recording of radio dramas including sound effects made live on stage.  Our show will include scripts about Sherlock Holmes, Space Marshals, and a complete fantasy drama written by East Point’s own Ellie Cook.  We’ll be recording these shows and we’d love a full house! The shows are appropriate for all ages! Dramatists include Ron N. Butler, Ellie Cook, and Dave Schroeder.

The Crooner & The Conjurer: DuoShow - Eddie Gammill and Chris Moorman

DuoShow is the company formed by collaborating performers Eddie Gammill and Chris Moorman – one a classically trained opera singer and the other a magician.  Their show, The Crooner & The Conjuror, is an intimate, immersive cabaret experience involving music and magic.  A high degree of audience interaction and participation makes each show unique.

Tam Tunes is coming to bring some soul to your Sunday! From R&B to gospel inflected soul Tammy is a renown performer and improviser.   Tamara “Tammy” Harper was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA and is proud to call Atlanta, GA her home. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a bachelor of arts degree in music (concentration – piano). Tammy is currently Executive Vice President, A&R Global and Director of Leadership Development with Wealth Nation/Sony and Empire/Universal, an artist development and brand development company and Vice President of Artist Relations with Rocstar World, an entertainment lifestyle brand and label, the pianist/choir director for two churches, teaches a music class to senior citizens and provides musical entertainment for seniors at an assisted living residence. In addition, she is the private piano and voice instructor to over twenty students and the leader of her band, Tam Tunes and The Gents!

Take exit 239 Central Ave. Go west on Central Ave. and the theatre will be on your right just across from the pedestrian bridge.
